5 years worth of RH and GAB classes, departmental exams, lab sessions and modules for Bio, Math 17, Org Chem, Block 13 and 14, counting ATPs for Biochem, COWS and MSS, fieldtrips and class projects (OOTI kahit di ako part ng block na yun), with BSLR-East and West moments, dissection, Histology (dieeeee), Scotts, AFTG!, Patho sessions, hydatidiform mole, Endocrinology, PHARMACOLOGY and ICC year, all culminate in tomorrow’s event.
In 2007, 2012 seemed so far away. Now, we’re here, with grad pictures and togas in hand.
Tomorrow we’ll be (sort of) graduates. Tomorrow when someone asks me what course I’m taking/haven taken, I’ll be able to say “BS Basic Medical Sciences po.” Then the explaining continues :)

A week apart from most of these guys. Tsktsktsk, no matter how we try to deny it, there’s this something between all of us already! Miss you 3B! :D Clingy much haha!

Water bottle sign, deep sulcus sign, and what else?
Done with Radio! :) With Management, ROR and Electives left, I have mixed feelings. Excited to go through these rotations but scared and sad because ICC year is ending. Time go by slowlyyyyy.

It amazes me how He balances out the positives and negatives each and every day :)
Was feeling blaaaah at the start of the week, coupled with realizations, rationalizations and whatnots. Then, what do you know, the email comes in early (with a positive response, hello Neurosurg!), followed by lots of pizzas and pasta with the EdBoard (thank you AA!) and racing against the clock to get to MOA to watch The Vow, just because it was sold out in Rob (I love you batchmates I don’t know what to do without you).
I feel truly loved :) Thank You!

Just a friendly reminder of what we tackled around 5 months ago: we had an adolescent patient at the Derma OPD this morning, and all 5 of us in the group forgot what HEADSSS stands for :)

Just emailed my last precepts paper to Dr. Ang, officially ending and saying goodbye to the last Big 4 rotation of my ICC year. Thank you so much Surgery, and to your fellows, residents and interns we had the pleasure of meeting and learning from. You’re the best! *wink wink* :))
We’re already starting with the second half of ICC year. Oh how time flies so fast when you’re having fun! I’m raring and excited to experience the true ICC life, hehe. 2-week rotations, including Electives and Management, are short and sweet compared to a month-long stint in Pedia or OB. But I am glad we got through the longer rotations first :) Hopefully, I retained most of what we learned in the past 3 months.
To more learning in the coming months! Fammed up next yo! :D But please please please go by slowly. I don’t want LU5 to end just yet :)
